How my Unique Business and Personal Experiences and Passion for Coaching Helps My Clients

Delivering memorable keynote addresses to audiences ranging from small teams to 10,000+ are all part of the executive ranks.

I’m Amy Love, and I bring a wealth of experience as a C-Suite executive, spanning Fortune 500 companies to Unicorn start-ups. I’ve founded companies, served as a CEO, and worn many hats in diverse industries like technology, consulting, consumer products, publishing, education, and sports. My varied background allows me to relate to your unique situation with deep knowledge and empathy.

A Wealth of Experience

High-stakes negotiations and celebrations, including devising and securing the NFL sponsorship for NetApp.

My career is marked by leadership roles such as company founder, two-time CEO, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Marketing Officer, and ten years as an adjunct college professor. I’ve also served on boards for both for-profit and nonprofit organizations.

I believe that “luck comes to those who are prepared,” and I live this motto every day. I work hard, play hard, and prioritize what matters most, including being a single mom deeply involved in my daughter’s life. My personal and professional experiences give me a unique perspective that’s rooted in joy, helping others achieve their goals and supporting them on their journey.

My Personal Journey

Pele and I on the cover of Soccer America, Dec. 2, 1975

Growing up, I moved frequently, never staying in one place for more than three years until high school. Learning from and adjusting to change was essential to my well-being. My early experiences, including playing Little League Baseball and fighting for the right to play competitive soccer, taught me resilience and determination. These formative years set the stage for my future success.

In high school, my entrepreneurial spirit flourished. I worked full-time, earned accolades from companies and organizations, and excelled in Junior Achievement. These accomplishments came during a tumultuous time for my family, highlighting my ability to thrive under pressure, and fuels my empathy for clients who have experienced trauma in their childhood.

College and Beyond

I was the second woman (in non-war years) to become student body president at Texas Tech University.

At Texas Tech, I served as Student Body President and was active in various leadership roles. I graduated with dual degrees in Marketing and Management and joined Procter & Gamble, where I quickly rose through the ranks, earning multiple individual and team awards and promotions. I’ve repeated this “fast-start” mentality many times and I provide  playbook for my clients to achieve similar results. My journey continued at Harvard Business School, where I honed my skills and garnered numerous job offers by devising a plan and executing it.

I believe it’s important to expose people, including my own daughter, to ideas that stretch their view of what’s possible.

I founded REAL SPORTS magazine in 1997. REAL SPORTS continues to publish a Most Important Moments in Sports edition each year and electronically distributes it.

My professional journey includes significant roles at Procter & Gamble (P&G), Booz Allen & Hamilton, public companies like NetApp, leading pre-IPO companies, and launching my own magazine, REAL SPORTS. I’ve also served in servant leadership roles as the CEO of the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs and Executives, and as Chief Operating Officer of MentorNet.

Coach Mentality

Gratitude goes both ways when you help people grow.

One of my favorite quotes by Eleanor Roosevelt, “The Future Belongs to Those Who Believe in the Beauty of Their Dreams,” encapsulates my coaching philosophy. I help people unlock their potential and achieve success both personally and professionally. My background as a player with a coach’s mentality encourages clients to play their best game. My success has been directly influenced by believing in myself, and by learning from and being supported by outstanding coaches and sponsors.

Personal Touches

My daughter and I enjoy performing acts of service on behalf of the Girl Scouts.

My life is filled with meaningful moments that showcase my dedication to helping others succeed personally and professionally. I’m also a committed and involved parent and community leader.

By choosing me as your coach, you’re partnering with someone who embodies resilience, dedication, and the joy of helping others succeed. Let me guide you on your journey to unlocking your full potential and achieving your dreams.

Coaching and Leadership Training

I believe it’s extremely important to be a sponsor of others. One way to accomplish this is through providing beneficial introductions, such as meeting with Mira Murati, then CTO OpenAl/ChatGPT, and Bill Gates, Founder of Microsoft.
